Bombers Announce Head Coach for 2020 Season

Blake Rowlett is currently the Executive Director and Head Baseball
Coach at Combine Academy.  Combine Academy is a post graduate program
near Charlotte, North Carolina.  Previously Rowlett was the owner and
founder of High Intent Training, an indoor baseball training facility
in Nashville, Tennessee.

His playing career came to a close in 2018 after a short stint with
the River City Rascals in the Frontier League.  Rowlett played college
baseball at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), a Division 1
Program in Johnson City, Tennessee.  At ETSU Rowlett was an
All-Conference player and recorded over 20 home-runs in his two
seasons.  Prior to ETSU, he played at Jackson State Community College
(Jackson, Tennessee).  Over his two seasons at Jackson State, he hit
18 home-runs with 81 walks.  He carried a career .316 batting average
in college baseball.

Rowlett’s four college summers were all spent in the WCBL, three with
Medicine Hat and another with Okotoks.  He was a 3 time All-Star and a
double All-Star his last season with Medicine Hat, finishing that
season with a .390 average and 20 doubles in 46 games.  In 2014 he was
a part of the WMBL Championship team with the Mavericks.

Coming into the summer of 2020 with Brooks winning a WCBL championship
is the goal again.  Rowlett wants nothing short of competing for and
bringing a championship to the City of Brooks.
